• Tuesday 15 October 2024 The Lord Mayor of Westminster Visit We were delighted to welcome The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Councillor Robert Rigby to our school on Monday to speak with our Y7 students about his role as Mayor and the Daily Mile initiative which he supports. After his insightful assembly, The Lord Mayor hosted a Q&A session followed by, autograph signing and then leading a select group of our students on a mile run around Paddington Rec.

• Friday 27 September 2024 Macmillan Coffee Morning and the great St. George's Sugar Rush 2024 On Friday 27 September, St. George’s came together in the name of all things cake to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. With 7 separate coffee morning events taking place around the school, staff and students surpassed themselves this year and the donations were incredible. Even the torrential downpours at breaktime and the potential for some very soggy bottoms couldn’t dampen the spirits.

VolleyballIn a spirited showdown against Southbank Under 17’s, our volleyball teams gave an outstanding performance, despite the significant age and physical differences between the two squads. Our students, spanning Year 8 to Year 12, held their own against the tall and powerful Southbank players.

• Tuesday 26 March 2024 The Dragon: Easter 2024 It is really hard to believe that the season of Easter is already upon us. We continue to build upon the excellent success of the previous GCSE results, where the value added to our examination students placed us in the top 4% of schools nationally and our well deserved Outstanding Section 48 Diocesan Inspection report. I am very grateful to all the staff and students in our community who have continued to work tirelessly to ensure that all in our community can achieve their wonderful God given potential.

• Thursday 9 November 2023 Year 8 SOAS University Trip On Thursday 9th November, students in Year 8 visited SOAS university to receive an insight into the importance of university and the options they have when they leave school! They were able to ask the student ambassadors questions about university life and were given a wonderful tour of campus. A lecturer from the university delivered a fascinating lesson on Ancient stories from Iran, and students were then able to read and discuss these stories in their groups. Overall, a fun and interesting day for the year 8 students!
