Design Museum Trip

'The design museum trip was one of the best trips as we got to see real life objects with crazy backgrounds. The museum itself had many interesting histories about the evolution of the products. We had some worksheets to complete which allowed us to go around the museum and read and find more about different designers, we also got to draw some of the products and look for the product we mostly liked which for me was the Christian Louboutin heels.
Later we had a workshop with a woman that works there, we went through a power point which helped us to do the task which was to design anew, different, and revolutionary product. Me and my group decided to draw a different umbrella which was multifunctional. Overall, the trip was amazing with lots of interesting facts about different products and their designers'.  Livia OLIVEIRA CECCON

DM Trip

'The design museum was a great way to experience what different designers have created in their own way. It was a piece of art seeing objects of daily life from over various years being changed or in a form with an abstract shape. For me it was an amazing experience as I got to see objects which have developed from before to now.
I learnt that designers have their own way of creating things from our daily lives but in an extraordinary shape for example Philippe Starck created a lemon squeezer which looks like the shape of a spider. The workshop was an excellent opportunity for me to see products made by famous designers and I would recommend others to go visit it!!!' Sasha FERNANDES
