A Level /BTEC - August 2024

We are hugely proud of the achievements of all of our 6th formers. They have all shown remarkable maturity, resilience and dedication to secure excellent results and move onto the next stage of their lives and careers. Both our A Level and BTEC candidates recorded extremely impressive results, despite the increased grade boundaries this year. Over a quarter of our total grades were A* or A. 

We are sending record numbers to top universities, some of whom are included below. We also have a number going into exciting apprenticeships. We wish them luck in all their future endeavours and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the 6th form teachers and tutor team for all their hard work in helping our year 13s taking these successful final steps.

Mariana Moreira secured a place at King’s College London to study Neuroscience with grades of AAA

David Campbell secure a place at City to study Engineering with grades of A*A*AB

Swedel Delmeda secured a place at Warwick to study Law with grades of A*AA

Viviana Ndrehilaj secured a place at UCL to study Mathematics with grades of AAA

Mayle Velasco secured a place at Trinity Conservatoire to study Music with grades of A*BC

Samara Anderson secured a place at Queen Mary to study Economics with grades of AAB

GCSE Results - August 2024

St George's Catholic School are thrilled to be celebrating another set of outstanding GCSE examination results this summer. Our staff are incredibly proud of all our students and their individual achievements. The results demonstrate the focus, commitment, and maturity that the cohort demonstrated this academic year. In addition, their resilience, mutual support to one another and the continued partnership between school and home. 

80% of our students achieved grades 9-4 and 28.3% pupils achieved grades 9-7. 

Compared to national averages, St George's students have performed remarkably and well above average. A special big well done to the following students for achieving top grades across all subjects:

The results are a testament to the dedication and hard work of all pupils and the constant efforts of all our staff, which have enabled our students to learn, achieve and excel.
