Safeguarding
St George’s is committed to providing an environment where children can learn, achieve and excel in and one where they feel safe and listened to.
Safeguarding our students is a vital part of our work and we strive to ensure children have positive relationships with each other and our whole school community.
We encourage all our school community to speak up if they feel they or others are at risk or harm.
We endeavour to ensure all staff are sensitive to issues of race, religion, culture, gender and diversity, however these issues should never be a barrier to sharing and reporting concerns about children.
We are very keen to build strong relationships with parents so that we can work together to ensure the necessary support is offered at the right time.
We have a team of dedicated staff who work as part of the safeguarding and inclusion team - all with a key responsibility to ensure children are safe and able to access their learning.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Ms Tonya Frost and. They can be contacted via the main school office phone number, or on the following email address: safeguarding@stgeorgesrc.org
We understand that any family can hit a time of challenge - and that sometimes this is unexpected. We have a wealth of resources available within this tab (also to the links on the right) where you can find further information about support available in school and across Westminster.
Please contact us if you have any concerns relating to the well-being of anyone in our school community.
