The Dragon: Easter 2024
It is really hard to believe that the season of Easter is already upon us. We continue to build upon the excellent success of the previous GCSE results, where the value added to our examination students placed us in the top 4% of schools nationally and our well deserved Outstanding Section 48 Diocesan Inspection report. I am very grateful to all the staff and students in our community who have continued to work tirelessly to ensure that all in our community can achieve their wonderful God given potential.
As ever, at St George’s, in line with our Catholic identity have a wide range of charity initiatives to support those less fortunate than ourselves. A huge thank you to all who contributed to our annual Easter Egg appeal, the penny appeal, in the run up to Easter, as well as all our other charity fundraisers over this term.
I am delighted to welcome our students back to school on Monday April 15th, after what I hope is a restful and relaxing Easter holiday period. May the joy of the Resurrection be with you all and your families and let that sense of hope extend to our families and communities.
