St. George’s RC School was once again judged as Outstanding in our most recent OFSTED inspection in November 2014 and we are committed to extending this focus on excellence into our Sixth Form. Our main focus is to ensure that the students in our care are fully equipped to confidently move into university, further education or the world of employment. The high standards and expectations that have been integral to the success of our school will also be a main focus of our Sixth Form. We expect our students to be highly motivated and have a very positive work ethic.

There are many pressures on the shoulders of the young people in Year 12 and Year 13, but we are very fortunate at St. George’s Catholic School to have a committed team of form tutors, subject teachers and support staff who will assist them as they negotiate their way through the challenges ahead. Each student is valued as an individual and the school takes its responsibility very seriously – from our Mission Statement - to assist each  young person to achieve their potential, not only academically but in terms of developing the “whole person”.
