Boys

School Uniform

To be worn to, from and at school. All items of uniform should be clearly marked with owner’s name.

  • Black or charcoal/dark grey trousers.
  • Black blazer with school badge.
  • Plain white shirt (worn correctly: tucked into trousers, top button fastened).
  • Grey V-necked plain-knit jumper.
  • School tie (required Year colour, worn correctly: top button fastened, clip appropriately placed).
  • Black coat (no logos, denim or leather).
  • Plain dark or black scarf only.
  • A plain black woolly hat (no logos) is permitted during the colder months.
  • Caps and hoodies are not permitted at any time.
  • Black socks only.
  • Formal, polishable, clean black leather shoes with black soles, black laces (if lace-ups) and all black stitching (no Converse, pumps, boots or trainers).
  • Beards, moustaches and wispy growth are not permitted for reasons on uniformity and we want our pupils to be smart and well-presented. No shaved or patterned eyebrows.
  • Sensible and tidy hairstyles, no lines, no extreme styles or colours.
  • Hair-bands must be plain, dark or black with no logo.
  • A wrist watch is permitted.
  • One small silver or gold stud is allowed in each ear lobe. No facial piercings are allowed. No other jewellery is permitted to, from or at school and will be confiscated.
  • St Georges school bag. All students in years 7 - 11 must have an official school bag available from the school outfitters by clicking on the picture.

P.E Kit:

  • Plain black track bottoms or shorts.
  • Red and black polo t-shirt with school logo.
  • Black sweatshirt.
  • Trainers.
  • White socks.

Equipment:

  • All students must have a pen, pencil, rubber, ruler, geometry set and a small scientific calculator and dictionary.
  • All pupils should bring a reading book every day.
  • Mobile telephones are not permitted and will be confiscated. Confiscated phones will be returned after one week (and may be kept for longer if deemed appropriate). Parents will be asked to collect confiscated telephones in person.

Girls

  • Plain white shirt (worn correctly: tucked into trousers, top button fastened).

  • School tie (required year colour, worn correctly: top button fastened, clip appropriately placed).
  • Black coat (no logos, denim or leather).
  • Plain dark or school scarf only.
